Bay Cove Learning Database
Overview
As an Instructional Designer at Bay Cove Human Services, I built an interactive database of hundreds of learning resources dedicated to the workforce development of 2,000 human service workers.
These workforce development solutions range from technology tutorial videos to mandatory compliance-related e-Learnings to career navigation tools. I also designed employee listening surveys, synthesized findings, and presented strategic recommendations to leadership.
Implementation
Creating hundreds of online resources was only the first step. While the database served as a valuable information hub for our geographically dispersed organization, it became clear that human-to-human communication was essential for disseminating these tools effectively. The presentation on the right was my pitch to promote digital equity and equip managers with the resources they need to help their staff develop core digital skills.
Example Training
This video is an example of one of the trainings that was accessible through the learning database. The purpose of this video training was to show hiring managers how to successfully hire a new candidate to the organization.
